Leftover List Available - On Sale Aug. 5th 2014!
Colorado Parks and Wildlife has just posted their list of available left over licenses for 2014. These licenses will go on sale August 5th at 9:00 Mountain Daylight Time. Over-the-counter licenses will also be available to purchase at this time. This is the first year licenses will go on sale in person and online at the same time. In the past, licenses would become available in person a whole day before they were available online. This new system will allow non-residents to have the same opportunity at left over licenses as residents have.
Left over licenses open up many hunting opportunities to those who have missed the draw, or were unsuccessful in the draw. Left over licenses are available for elk, deer and antelope. These left over licenses are the licenses that were available in the April draw, but did not sell out. Over-the-counter licenses can also provide good hunting opportunities, especially for elk hunts. Archery and some rifle elk hunts are available through Over-the-counter licenses.
