This year we brought a nephew along with my brother and I. We had second season rifle tags. As many of you know, the 29th was a very snowy day with poor visibility. After a very short hunt we returned to town to try the next day, figuring the animals would be on the move. They were. After spotting some elk while walking, I hid behind some bushes and was able to take this 5x5 bull out of a group of 12 cows and a spike at 150 yards. While we did not fill the other 2 tags, the bulls were there. We saw 5 more shooters including 1 6x6 with and interesting split on the top left antler. The problem was there were actually too many elk in the groups and cows kept ratting on us. This happened the last 3 days of our hunt. Even my brother, who cannot walk due to a stroke, was only about 100 yards to far for a shot on a bull, it was at 450 yards. We had a lot of fun and are hoping to return again next year. Thanks, Joe! Another good and enjoyable time with RMR! ADDITIONAL INFO Listen to your host, I got my bull on a knoll he told us about. He knows where the critters are! Thanks again, Joe!
