I have hunted with RMR for 3 years have taken a beautiful 5x5. also an outstanding 5x4 muley. with many more encounters and a couple missed shots. my group has taken a good number of elk never a dry year for us. Have met many guys hunting the week before us all have been very please with the amount of animals that is seen and heard on your private ranches. what really upsets me is to read negative stories as the one David Calton from Texas wrote. Travis and I hunted the same ranch last year I had bulls on me every day just could not close the deal no fault of the elk. Travis had never hunted elk before he took a beautiful cow on the second day he was absolutely thrilled. he saw bulls every day. Friends Brett and Jack both took nice bulls a 5X5 and a 6x6 the year before this guy was there. The year he was there we could hear bulls bugling on the ranch he was on from our motel in town. I am 67 years old I walked every inch of the mountain he was on last. As any where the elk are not behind every tree. even though it is private land you still got to hunt them. sounds like this guy is just lazy or he is not a true hunter. No matter how tough it is you don,t give up half way threw the hunt.My good Friend Bob never gave up on his hunt he got a beautiful 5x5 the last 30 min of the hunt the same year this joker was there. so Mr Calton don,t blame your lack of hunting ability or your skills as a hunter on the outfitter. my advice to you get in shape and give it another try I will be back on 7 point again this year trying again ADDITIONAL INFO purchase a good pair of boots and be willing to wear them out You will find elk on RMR properties
